Synopsis: A drunken riverboat captain, Bogart, is persuaded by a prudish missionary, Hepburn, to shuttle her down river and engage an enemy warship.

Fact: The African Queen is the basis for Disney's "Jungle Cruise" ride.

Trivia: Humphrey Bogart won his only Oscar for this film.

Movie Mistake: A cigar magically appears while discussing who's going to steer the torpedo's.

My Take: It's a classic with Bogart and Hepburn, how can you go wrong? You can't, The African Queen rocks. It's got action, great acting and directing. You really feel Rose's disdain for Charlies drinking because that's how Hepburn really felt off screen about Huston's and Bogart's daily consumption.
